Safety at Hot Shots

This is a guy that is playing safely. His mask is on and the marker is pointed away from his face. Saftey is a major concern at Hot Shots Paintball. All of the Referees and other staff have been trainined in paintball safety and lead by example.
1. ALWAYS KEEP YOUR MASK ON when you are on the field of play. Most paintball injurys are caused by people taking off their masks in the field of play. If you forget our Referees will be around to remind you. Hot Shots promotes fun, but it also promotes saftey.
2. KEEP YOUR BARREL SOCK ON. People in the staging area are not wearing masks and it is important that your gun barrel covered when not of the field.
3. SPECIAL EQUIPMENT is allowed on the field if it has been approved by the field owner. Tanks, mortars, mines and other non-marker equipment you would like to use must be checked by the staff prior to using it on the field.
4. ALL PLAYERS MUST HAVE SIGNED WAIVERS before going out onto the field to play. Insurance regulations require that all players sign a liability waiver prior entering the field of play. Waivers are available by clicking the link. LIABILITY WAIVER All children under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign their waiver prior to playing.
5. CHECK YOUR MASK LENSE before you walk out onto the field. If your lense is cracked you should replace it before playing. If a lense is weakened because of a crack it could break if hit. Always check your lense after it has been hit.
6. Conduct yourself under the assumption that YOUR GUN IS ALWAYS LOADED. Paintball "Markers" or guns should be treated with the same respect as a real fire arm. Do not stare down the barrel, point the barrel at yourself or other players until the game begins.
7. CRONOGRAPH YOUR MARKER everytime you come out to play. If you don't know how to adjust your gun or use the chronograph ask the Hot Shots staff and they will help you. Rental guns do not need to be cronographed.
